Duggan Steel is currently recruiting a Senior CAD Technician & a Senior Structural Engineer for its Cork office.

SENIOR CAD TECHNICIAN
DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for the completion of 3D modelling with Structural Modelling Software (Tekla BIM), creating G.A’s, fabrication drawings and NC files for the production team. Ensuring that all CAD standards, Health & Safety regulations, Design Standards and Codes of Practice are adhered to at all times. You will be working with the Production Manager to deliver drawings in a scheduled and professional manner.
CRITERIA
Minimum 8+ years experience of working on Civil/Structural projects, with a proven record of providing high quality drawings to strict deadlines.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Revit, any other modelling software an advantage.
SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for managing the detailing and submittal of structural drawings and calculations to the design team for approval, including the co-ordination of delivery of drawings from subcontract detailers.
Submittals and drawings of a high standard to strict deadlines
Provide NC Files to the production workshop and liase with the production manager
Attend design team meetings at various project locations throughout the country
CRITERIA
Minimum 8+years experience with a Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering with structural components
Must be proficient in the use of 3D modelling software, AutoCAD Revit.
