Case Sweco: Communicating sustainability aspects using value-driven visualisations in Solibri

David Jirout, is the Sustainability Coordinator for SWECO’s IT Consultants, his background is in system development, BIM coordination and GIS. Merging his IT skills with knowledge gained in the Sustainable Development programme at Uppsala University, David’s job is about showing how IT and digitalisation can be used to deliver measurable and tangible climate and general sustainability value in AEC projects.

David Jirout shows how you can use Solibri to gain insights about critical environmental and financial aspects about your projects in Solibri. During the presentation David will show how you can utilise costs and emission factors for colouring the model as a 3D heatmap in order to understand what parts of the design need to be revised from the sustainability perspective.

Solibri is a versatile tool for even doing sustainability analysis.
