On Saturday 20th July cyclists of all levels take part in Murphy Surveys’ Cycle for Crumlin in Kilcullen, Co.Kildare and in association with the Kilcullen Cycling Club. The non-competitive cycle will see riders complete a 50 km or 100 km route.

Murphy Surveys have raised in excess of €65,000 for CMRF Crumlin to date and with the public’s help they are aiming to smash previous targets to raise over €20,000 this year. CMRF Crumlin is the fundraising body for CHI Crumlin, and the National Children’s Research Centre, and is dedicated to helping sick children. Through their patient-centred approach and cutting-edge research they have helped improve the quality of life of thousands of children and help give hope to thousands more. On average 150,000 children walk through the doors of Crumlin hospital every year.

Niall Murphy Managing Director, Murphy Surveys comments: “I’m extremely excited and proud to announce the launch of the 2019 Cycle for Crumlin to help support sick children and CMRF Crumlin. The event supported by our friends at the Kilcullen Cycling Club has grown beyond our wildest expectations and we’re expecting over 400 cyclists this year to take part across the 2 courses. However, this event is not just for serious cyclists, it’s a great family fun day out, and we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Race Village at our headquarters in Kilcullen. This year’s event is extra special as it coincides with the Kilcullen 700, and will support the celebrations marking 700 years since the first bridge in Kilcullen across the Liffey. Through the kind generosity and support of our local businesses, we have once again been able to guarantee 100% of the registration fee will go directly to the CMRF Crumlin. So if you’re a local business and want to get involved please, please get in touch!”
