According to the Fermanagh Herald, Quinn Industrial Holdings Limited (QIHL) is in the process of increasing its in-house BIM staff.

The staff will be supporting its building product range across Ireland and the UK.

QIHL took control of the Construction Industry Supply (CIS) and Packaging businesses of the former Quinn Group in December 2014. Quinn Group was founded by Sean Quinn in 1973. The business developed its roots in the construction industry. The Quinn Group developed a reputation for its cement, insulation, radiator and other products over four decades. The company has a large portfolio of products across a variety of sectors.

The company has been hiring of late, with graduate and apprenticeship positions being filled. As with other construction organisations, investing in BIM capability will be a necessity as the construction industry further embraces BIM and the benefits of the technology.
