Mercury Engineering currently has a position for a BIM Modeller for work on a number of projects.
The ideal candidate should have 1 to 2 years’ experience with a mechanical contractor. Having project experience is an advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Responsible for production of 3D Construction models from base information – PID’s, Scan of facility and Cloud data.
Provision of construction detailing on the systems to enable the automatic production of isometrics and BOM.
Collaboration with other trades & Intel tool managers and project managers.
Development of 3D co-ordinated services and structure layouts for clash control
Production of 3D design drawings, prefabrication isometrics and details.
Assistance in the overall development of the BIM protocols and systems.
Selection Criteria include:
1 – 2 years’ experience
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent IT skills
