In 2011, DPS commenced one of the largest European laser scanning and 3D modelling projects in a highly complex industrial process environment. This has since evolved into ongoing scanning, 3D modelling and construction management, all integrated into a lean construction process closely following BIM principles.

Committed to Lean Construction, DPS are continuously analysing their performance in order to improve their deliverables to our clients. A direct outcome of this process, DPS are delighted to be the first Irish company to take delivery of the latest P16 Scanstation and a 1” total station from Survey Instrument Services and Leica Geosystems to supplement their existing fleet of survey instruments. A short range instrument the P16 is ideally suited to deliver the highest quality deliverable required for complex environments.  DPS will utilise this instrumentation to maintain their advantage in complex BIM projects through improved performance and productivity.

While surveying is a strong component in DPS’s recent success, it is only a single cog in the complete turnkey “BIM” solution that DPS offer. Building on our “field to finish”  experience both at home and abroad DPS have the in-house capabilities, infrastructure and procedures that enables them to manage, execute and deliver the most complex of construction projects.

To support our turnkey approach, DPS have an in-house BIM management tool “PMCS” that provides Clients and Project Managers with the ability to assess the impact of change on a project and the resulting implications of that change to schedule and costs.

Established in 1973, SIS remains one of the largest suppliers of surveying equipment and accessories in Ireland and has an unrivalled Service Department, Leica fully equipped and approved,  with factory trained personnel. We have our own in house Software Development and Technical Support Department,  which enables us to fully support our product range.

We are an Authorised Service Partner. The Service Partner Accreditation was issued by Leica Geosystems HQ in Heerbrugg, Switzerland after a comprehensive audit of SIS service facility at our Dublin office.

We provide sales, hire and service of surveying equipment for a wide variety of clients from the construction industry and surveyors to engineers and the Ordnance Survey.

We have extensive experience with laser scanning for the past decade and can supply and support the latest Leica HDS scanners and software.
