The last 5 years have been some of the toughest in construction in Ireland, but one company is celebrating its success and its 5th birthday this month.
ArcDox is a specialist BIM (Building Information Modelling) consultancy practice that has been at the forefront of helping designers, contractors and facility managers, to implement better ways of working with building information, to drive efficiencies, productivity, profitability, innovation and competitiveness, while reducing waste, risk and uncertainty in construction.
With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, the founding partners, Ralph Montague & Pat Slattery, identified that design and construction companies would need advice, production resources, support and training, to help implement this new way of working, and over the last 5 years they have worked with over 50 project teams , training and supporting over 500 people, to use BIM technologies for designing, constructing and operating buildings.
ArcDox has been a leading light for the construction industry in Ireland, promoting positive change and the use of BIM in construction, through the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI), the Construction IT Alliance (CITA) and the Revit Users Ireland Group (RUIG).
