Arthur Cox appoints 3 new partners

Arthur Cox is pleased to announce the appointment of three new partners to the firm.  Based in Dublin, they are Catherine Austin (Pensions), Hilary Callanan (Banking) and Aiden Small (Capital Markets).

Advising employers and trustees on the establishment and operation of occupational pension schemes, Catherine Austin works closely with the firm’s Employment Group on the pension provisions of contracts of employment, resolution of pension disputes and negotiation of settlement agreements.

Hilary Callanan specialises in banking, financial services and project finance, advising both borrowers and Irish and international financial institutions.  Hilary has substantial experience in banking and project finance transactions including negotiating finance documentation for lenders and borrowers, advising on the restructuring of facilities in default and the enforcement options in domestic and cross-border transactions.

Aiden Small is a member of the firm’s Capital Markets Group, specialising in structured finance and derivatives.  He advises investment banks, hedge funds, private equity firms and investment managers on wide range of treasury products.  Aiden previously worked with Allen & Overy and Morgan Stanley in London and joined the firm in January 2012.
