CITA have announced that applications for the Part Time Online Post Graduate Certificate in Construction Informatics are closing soon.
This course aims to train professionals to become BIM enabled practitioners by providing an understanding of the complexity of working in interdisciplinary teams and managing collaborative design and production. It offers the opportunity to develop new skills within BIM that will enhance your ability to plan and execute design for construction. A strong number of BIM focused modules are taught that include an Introduction to Construction Informatics, BIM Execution Planning and Project Protocols, 4D Project Planning and Scheduling, Sustainability and BIM, Interoperability and BIM, as well as Understanding Data Set Management and BIM . These modules can be taken either as part of the Post Graduate Certificate or individually as standalone modules. The programme offers further opportunities to extend these learning outcomes by offering a Post Graduate Diploma and MSc qualifications based on results from the Post Graduate Certificate.
