Ireland’s largest survey company, Murphy Surveys has opened a new Dublin city centre office on Pembroke Street.
Billed as an Innovation Centre, the office will showcase the latest survey innovation services provided by the company’s expert survey team and will act as a knowledge centre to display, inform, support and educate Murphy Survey’s expanding client base.
Company MD Raymond Murphy said: “This office will give our clients the opportunity to see first-hand the latest innovation survey services being used today. These services will give our clients the knowledge to allow them a competitive edge on a vast array of projects in sectors including infrastructure, industrial, utility, engineering and property.”
Founded in 1983, Murphy Surveys has grown to a level where it now employs more than 200 staff and has six offices in Ireland and the UK.
The company has continually invested in the latest surveying equipment and technology with the result that it can provide the most efficient solutions its clients. For example, Murphy Surveys was the first company to use Laser Scanning in Ireland and it has developed its own in-house 3D surveying and CAD/Revit modelling techniques.
Services currently offered include: 3D Laser Scanning, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Underground Utility Surveys, Topographic and Hydrographic Surveys, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Monitoring, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR).
