Roadbridge just has announced that the company has achieved British Standards Institute certification for the design and construction of BIM Level 2 projects in line with PAS 1192-2.
To achieve verification certification, Roadbridge completed the BIM Level 2 audit process working closely with BSI. The audit examined in detail the company’s BIM processes, procedures and management systems to verify compliance with PAS 1192-2:2013, BS 1192:2007 and BS 1192-4:2014. The award of the certification in December 2018 coincided with the recent publication of ‘Roadmap to Digital Transition for Ireland’s Construction Industry’ developed by the National BIM Council of Ireland which defines a four-year adoption of digital technologies across the Public Sector.
“We recognise that BIM and developing digital technologies are the future of our business, and as such this certification aligns with our strategy. This independent third-party certification is a formal recognition that Roadbridge adheres to world leading standards. It gives our clients and stakeholders the confidence and assurance that we will deliver consistent excellence on all our projects.” Conor Gilligan Roadbridge Managing Director
“It’s a great achievement to be awarded this certification in recognition of the standards we have reached with BIM implementation. Roadbridge regards BIM as a key part of the future for the construction sector, and we look forward to working with our clients and suppliers to realise the benefits BIM can deliver.” Jaime Mulcair, Roadbridge BIM Manager
