The DPW Group is an international provider of BIM specialist services including strategy development, implementation support, 4D/5D expertise services, BIM software training, technical support and model production partnering.

The company is currently expanding its team to meet the increased demand for BIM services in the Irish and UK markets. BIM Specialists will provide strategic and technical services on a number of ongoing projects.

Duties

The duties and responsibilities of BIM Specialists at The DPW Group include:

• model checking using Navisworks, Solibri model checker, Revit model checker, and other software packages

• preparation of model checking report content

• model data extraction

• production of 4D and 5D BIM deliverables

• CSA and MEP BIM authoring

• marketing material development

• business support activities

Candidate Requirements

Third level degree in a construction industry discipline. 2-5 years of experience in a construction, BIM management, project management related role. Proficiency with Autodesk Revit required, experience with other BIM authoring tools such as Tekla Structures, ArchiCAD, is an advantage. Proficiency with Autodesk Navisworks required, experience with other model analysis and 4D tools such as Solibri Model Checker and Synchro is an advantage.

The DPW Group is a learning organisation. Successful candidates will demonstrate a capability and eagerness to discover new BIM solutions and techniques for unique project specific challenges. Technical activities are expected to be carried out with minor supervision. The successful candidate must be capable of setting priorities and working to deadlines. BIM Specialists will be expected to deploy technical solutions within a collaborative environment. An ability to work well with The DPW Group and project team members is essential.
