Exactal has just announced its newest release of CostX^®, Version 6.0.

Given the huge popularity of the CostX^® software worldwide, and its exponential growth even in just the last year (with over 7,000 licences sold as part of the Dimensioneering Group) this new version will be an exciting milestone for customers worldwide.

There are plenty of excellent new features included for clients and prospects in CostX^® 6.0. Most significantly, a new underlying technology platform is being used. This has resulted in substantial gains in stability, performance and speed of CostX^®, especially with large datasets and across networks, making it a better overall user experience.

Some of the other important features included in CostX^® 6.0 are:

• Support for Windows 10.
• Quoting support previously only available in CostX^® Viewer is now supported in CostX^®.
• Portable licences can now be used on a network.
• Improved IFC navigation.
• New Dimension Offset field to set a height above datum for Dimensions.
• Workbooks list can optionally display a unit cost rate for gross floor area.
• Fully translatable interface.
• Phraseology libraries now support text formatting such as bold and underline.
• Simplified download and installation with unified 32/64-bit installers across the product range.
• Additional Rate and Rate Library features.
• Additional Code and Code Library features.

All customers under maintenance are recommended to upgrade to CostX^® 6.0. Customers with maintenance may download CostX^® 6.0 through Exactal’s dedicated support site TechWeb at http://techweb.exactal.com/downloads. As soon as the type of product has been selected, and your valid serial number entered, the new version may be downloaded. Users may retrieve their serial number by copying the text from the About box in CostX^®.

PLEASE NOTE: This upgrade is only valid for users under maintenance. Users who are not under maintenance but who would like to upgrade should contact their Exactal office or local reseller.
